Iran's Economic Crises, Officials Admitting Market Being Crippled

NCRI - Iran’s Minister of Road and Construction Abbas Akhoondi, admitted to the regime’s failing, in resolving the country’s economic dilemmas, and how the cabinet of Hassan Rouhani is completely incapable.
There are three main factors crippling Iran’s economy.
1. “Contaminated finances in the banking industry.”
2. “the government’s debts to the economy,” and
3. The “national economic low production ratio.”
Abbas Akhoondi stated in an interview with the state-run Mehr news agency on March 23rd.
“I even asked for a state of emergency regarding the issue of national economy management … the government’s debts to the economy is amongst the other problems our establishment is facing, and most recently the Finance Minister said these numbers hovers around $2.5 billion, meaning more than 55% of Iran’s gross national product,” he added.
Furthermore, in an interview with state-run radio, Yahiya Ale Es’haq the head of Iran’s chamber of commerce, industries and mines, also referred to the regime’s inability in resolving economic dilemmas.
“Considering the situation we are in following the U.S. elections and the conditions seen in the global engineering, there are still many questions about how the world’s economic establishment will pursue their activities? We must know how the situation is. The year ahead of us is a year in which we will be facing many questions and unknowns,” Ale Es’haq added.
“We are also facing numerous inquiries in the domestic spectrum. We have the presidential elections ahead of us, and who with what perspective will be coming to power? This issue is significantly important in the economic field. For example, the unemployment issue is a subject accepted by all parties, yet differences remain about the statistics. Anyhow, we have an issue called unemployment, in the millions, and afterwards we have the issue of people’s living conditions. Our middle and lower classes are facing serious problems making ends meet,” he added.
